A Quran verse on your Home Screen
A daily ayah widget gives you Arabic text, a translation you choose and the verse reference. Use a medium or large Home Screen layout when you want more room for reading.
The free Classic verse widget works on iPhone and Android. Pick a readable color scheme before experimenting with decorative designs.
Prophetic quotes and your own reminders
Premium includes quote widget styles for prophetic reminders and custom-text widgets. You can write a dhikr, dua or personal reminder and display it as your own text.
Keep the distinction clear: a custom note is user-written text, not automatically a Quran verse or authenticated hadith. When sharing a quotation, check its source and reference.
Choose the right screen
On iPhone, use the free Daily Verse Lock Screen widget for a glance and a larger Home Screen widget for more text. They are added separately through iOS.
On Android, start with the Home Screen widget. Lock Screen placement varies by device and Android version. Our Android guide does not promise the same controls on every phone.
What to check before choosing an Islamic widget
Some apps focus on prayer times, Hijri dates or a tasbih counter. This page focuses on Quran verses and reminder widgets. Choose the app whose supported features match what you want to see.
Check translation choice, Arabic readability, actual free access, the screen you need and the app’s update behavior. A beautiful preview is useful only if the installed widget is comfortable to read.
Start with one useful widget
Install the app, load a verse and add a free widget before building a whole screen of reminders. Use the iPhone or Android guide for the exact steps.
If a widget is missing or stale, use the troubleshooting section in the platform guide. Keep a few free slots on the screen while testing sizes.
Questions about Quran widgets
Is there a free Islamic widget?
Quran Widget includes the free Classic Quran verse widget for iPhone and Android, plus the free Daily Verse Lock Screen widget on iPhone. Quote and custom-text widgets are optional Premium features.
Can I display my own dhikr or dua?
Premium custom-text widgets let you write and display your own reminder. User-written text should not be presented as a Quran verse unless it is accurately quoted and referenced.
